Connaissez-vous les Popovers américains, très ressemblants également aux Yorkshire puddings anglais ? Ce sont des petites crêpes soufflées cuites au four, dans des moules ronds profonds ou, à défaut, dans des moules à muffins en métal.
Ce sont des cousins de la fameuse crêpe hollandaise appelée Dutch baby pancake - une crêpe soufflée grande version, cuite également au four dans une poêle en fonte. Je déjà proposé plusieurs versions, sucrées ou salées, sur mon blog :
Aujourd'hui c'est la Chandeleur, mais bientôt c'est également le Mardi Gras, alors je pensais que ces merveilles seront parfaites pour ces circonstances. Même si, cela n'empêche pas d'en préparer pendant toute l'année, tellement c'est bon et facile à faire.
Personnellement, j'ai adoré et c'est certain que je vais tester également d'autres variantes. Servis au petit déjeuner ou au goûter,
