Le changement, c’est un peu maintenant, mais pas trop non plus
À la faveur de la réussite au box-office de la première adaptation de la série britannique, Downton Abbey II : une nouvelle ère a été produit. Cette fois-ci, c'est Simon Curtis qui le dirige, après avoir sorti, il y a dix ans, My week with Marilyn. S'il a réalisé quelques autres films, sortis relativement discrètement en France, les esprits taquins pourront arguer qu'il est à la ville l'époux de l'excellente Elizabeth McGovern, qui interprète ici la Comtesse de Grantham. La distribution ne change pas beaucoup, puisque l'on retrouve les principaux interprètes de la série, auxquels on adjoint quelques guest star, parmi lesquels des français. Bien entendu, c'est toujours Julian Fellowes qui est aux commandes, et qui en écrit le scénario.
