Je cherchais à voir ce film depuis très longtemps. "1941" (1979) le quatrième film complètement déjanté de Steven SPIELBERG avec déjà le tandem John BELUSHI et Dan AYKROYD m'avais mis l'eau à la bouche (Steven SPIELBERG fait d'ailleurs une petite apparition sur "The Blues Brothers") ainsi que "S.O.S. fantômes" (1984) qui réunissait cette fois un trio Dan AYKROYD, Bill MURRAY et Harold RAMIS, tous issus comme John Belushi de la pépinière à talents comiques du Saturday Night Live. Car c'est sur ses planches que le groupe "The Blues Brothers" a fait ses gammes (et trouvé son dress code à la "Reservoir Dogs") (1992) avant d'être adapté à l'écran. Le fait de ne l'avoir vu qu'aujourd'hui m'amène à le rapprocher de "ELVIS" (2020) dont d'ailleurs l'un des titres est interprété dans le film
