Elevating Your Marketing Game to New Heights

Maximizing Profits in the World of Affiliate Marketing.

For anyone with ambitions of conquering the world of affiliate marketing there is one universal law and that is build your audience. Yes, there’s a bit of a catch — you’ll need to invest time and effort, but here’s the silver lining: as the adage goes, do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life That is the beauty of it when you’re going to make money with something you have an interest in.

But to get to that stage you need to cultivate a readership and become a public figure or an opinion maker.

However, are there other different ways to sell the affiliate products? Absolutely! We will describe those in this chapter as well. Nevertheless, my strong recommendation remains the same: grow your audience list and make sure the people on that list are actually interested in your brand/ product.

Crafting a Compelling Brand

Growing influence is not as easy as it is made to look. To get the public to the extent where they are ready to buy products following your advises you have to devote time and ensure that you are delivering quality information in most cases.

This journey begins with the creation of a website along with the development of a strong brand on social networks. Instead of going straight to the call to action or sponsoring right away, try to create high quality content which will result in customer trust and stickiness.

One of the critical elements is to have a clear and outstanding brand, the existence of the clearly stated mission and the presence of the concrete “marketing persona” (a detailed description of the potential buyer).

One major folly is the attempt to build a website that targets everybody. This often has the exact opposite effect because casting the net as wide as possible means the brand becomes uninteresting.

For example, “fitness” is just an umbrella term nowadays that is used by millions of websites. It means you are up against the whole internet and that makes you struggle to be relevant in such a saturated market.

It is beneficial to avoid general labels such as ‘Fitness for the Over 40s’, ‘Paleo Fitness’, ‘Cross Fit’, ‘Outdoor Fitness or ‘Hard Core Bodybuilding’ as examples. It is particularly easier to have a more defined target market, knowing what you need to achieve, and a catchy concept. However, it does this at the cost of reaching significantly fewer individuals – but those it does reach are likely to interact and be happy with the fact that there is something which is designed just for them.

Your brand should arise out of this passionate purpose. The general concept of both logos and your website design should answer two questions right away. This message should be reechoed in your content.

For example, a website dedicated to information about bodybuilding may have grim red and black colors, pictures of heavily muscled men, and an article called “Increasing testosterone through compound exercises.”

A fitness site framed in paleo direction might have a green and white design with people exercising outdoors. Every ad, tweet, post, and piece of content you create should reflect this picture.

When choosing your affiliate product, it should, of course, target that segment of the population as well. Promote it to match that value in a market that is currently underserved by other products with the same selling proposition.

Most importantly, they should present new content that has been prepared by professional writers. Here’s a revelation: to convince a reader to buy an affiliate product, it is counterproductive to employ a writer with little or no information about the topic. Why? Because all they are able to do is investigative work and remake already known information and so produce, content that may not be ori
