Il y a tant de choses, tant d’affaires
Que j’aimerais te déclamer.
Attends, laisse-moi juste la lumière,
pour qu’enfin je détourne le faisceau
sur toi, sur tes yeux, ton nez, ta bouche.
Oui, tu t’en doutes, ils sont beaux,
Mais ce n’est pas cela qui me touche.
Grâce à eux, surtout, j’ai retrouvé
la joie le matin, le sommeil la nuit.
Grâce à eux encore, je peux jurer
D’avoir écarté l’accablement et l’ennui.
