Love is in the air 💕 It literally is, with all the pink decorations, flashy banners and numerous promotional campaigns we may observe the last two weeks. Companies have begun to set their “traps” for customers willing to celebrate love.

The commercialization of the holidays is not new. While we are used for the Christmas and the New Year shopping rush, Saint Valentine’s day was not celebrated by as many people before. But companies realised that butterflies in the stomach make customers spend more and started to do their best to make St Valentine’s day a reason to purchase something.

With the growing tendency to independence, individualism and diminution of family values, people tend to stay single instead of being in a couple. Being single is not a shame now,
