Ernest était le roi de la basse-cour. C'était un coq magnifique, au plumage chatoyant, à la voix pure. Toutes les poules étaient folles de lui. Un jour, on lui proposa de prendre sa retraite.
Ernest, vexé, se dit :
" j'ai deux options, soit je ne dis rien, et on me remplace, soit je fomente une révolution avec toutes les poules. "
Il négocia : après tout, il était encore très séduisant, et les jeunes coqs n'avaient ni son charisme, ni sa prestance !
Ernest se sentait invincible.
Le lendemain, la cocotte était chaude, le Gaillac, parfait. On se régala !
