Décidément, ma solitude est impossible. Après avoir couché Arnold et laissé celui-ci aux soins de Pierrette, Édouard est remonté sur mon toit pour me proposer d’aller dîner en ville. Il a besoin de se changer les idées, rien de tel qu’une soirée entre vieux copains pour s’aérer la tête. Pourquoi pas, mais tant que l’ascenseur n’est pas réparé, je suis bloqué ici, la descente des cinq étages en appui sur mes béquilles est trop difficile, je ne veux pas tenter à nouveau l’expérience. Il m’aidera, insiste-t-il lourdement, si bien que j’accepte et nous nous retrouvons à la terrasse de la pizzeria du coin de la rue.
