C’matin j’avais encore c’fichu ménage
Qui m’attendait, patient, sage.
Puis j’me suis rappelé
Ton joli p’tit visage,
Tout droit sorti d’ma propriété.
Tes p’tits yeux verts qui m’fixaient,
À peine arrivé dans c’monde en carnage…
J’aurais voulu graver cet instant sacré
Dans mon âme, pour qu’toi tu puisses briller.
J’savais qu’il t’faudrait du courage
Pour affronter c’monde désenchanté.
J’aurais voulu boire tous les lacs que t’as pleurés,
Refaire l’chemin, découvrir l’soleil derrière les nuages…
Mais mon fils, retiens cette vérité :
La société, qui nomme ça « handicap », n’a juste pas idée.
Car l’homme que tu deviendras, dans ta clarté,
Portera un message que nul ne pourra ignorer.
