Jour n°29 #tusk
We have a sweet tooth for chocolate or cakes. How about nations that love all that is sweet ? Do they have a sweet tusk ?
Last summer when visiting Iceland I was dazed to see the local cakes and pastries. Some resembled to those we have in France but looked so much sweeter covered with caramel, vanilla icing or chocolate, spotted with granulated sugar, decorated with pralines and colourful sugar bits or pearls. Needless to say that the famous Scandinavian cinnamon rolls were available everywhere, in different sizes and made from different sorts of dough.
Is this tendency for eating sweet a search for hygge ? Or maybe a spell used to tame the vivid climat ? Or a way to keep your body warm ? I have not found the answer.
Yet, I’m pretty sure it’s not the best way to treat your body and health. The highly inflammatory sugar is a plague for your organs.
We’d better stick to the sweetness of fruits and its vitamins. I’ve got a sweet tusk for them.
